This second Rain City Props Records concept album mixtape turns life in the props department into a full-blown hip-hop saga, blending comedy, crew culture, and hard-hitting beats into six studio bangers.
Drawing from over 25 years on set, the album tackles everything from badly Greeked products and rookie Loss & Damage nightmares to an unexpectedly heartfelt love song about props and a no-holds-barred rap battle born out of set tension.
Featuring a different guest artist on every track and lyrics written entirely by Dave Righton, it’s equal parts satire and tribute—music made by a crew lifer, for anyone who’s ever lived behind the camera and learned that on set, nothing is ever just a prop.
