Service Description

Date: Sunday July 25th 2021 12pm - 5pm (5 hours) Instructor: This course Facilitator is Rob Fournier. Rob served 5 years in the Canadian Armed Forces (Infantry, 3rd Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment, 1986-1991). He then moved to Vancouver in 1991, attended VFS for the 1 year program in “Acting for Film and Television”. Rob became an apprentice Film and Television Armourer in 1993, and became fully certified in the summer of 1994. Rob works full time as the senior Armourer (Felcan Enterprises, Inc., 27+ years) and Military Technical Advisor in Vancouver. He is also a full union member with IATSE Local 891 (Props), and UBCP/Actra. Rob has worked on many Feature Films and Television series, and currently has over 240+ credits (IMDB). Location: Rain City Props 203-5493 Regent St, Burnaby Tickets: $120 +Fees Fees include 5% GST, 3% Processing PAL not required - No actual firearms will be used. Tickets are non-refundable and will not be available at the door. Materials provided: All props for dressing Police and Military persons/actors will be provided for examples. Objectives Met: - Attendees of this course should be familiar with common pieces of Police and Military gear used for film. - Attendees should be able to communicate in a safe and professional manner when speaking to cast about sensitive props and gear. - Attendees can exercise the proper assembly of military-type vests and attachments.


Cancellation Policy

Workshops and classes are non-refundable. When applicable, students may request a course credit that may be applied to a future date. All credit requests must be made prior to 10 days preceding enrolled class date.
