Service Description

This On-Set Props workshop is designed specifically for the motion picture and television industry and is designed for all individuals with basic fundamental experience working in the Properties Department. This course is a fun and interactive way to learn effective practices and standardized work habits in the world of On-set Props. Whether you are refreshing your knowledge or just starting out in the industry, this course is great for veterans and beginners alike. Tuition: $300 per student +fees Fees include 5% GST, 3% Online Processing Students with IATSE 891 Memberships may be eligible for partial course reimbursement. Concepts Covered: Communications - Production and crew communications as well as tools and technology. Safety - Weapons safety, general safety, set etiquette and truck orientation. Workflow (Daily/Weekly) - Attitude and expectations in the Props Department, aging/greeking/maintenance of props and their deployment. Organization - Organization and continuity, as well as script breakdown and storage of props.


Cancellation Policy

Workshops and classes are non-refundable. When applicable, students may request a course credit that may be applied to a future date. All credit requests must be made prior to 10 days preceding enrolled class date.
